Anyone who's ever had to thread an hourglass sling in a precarious position while lead climbing will appreciate the improved knotability that comes with the special sheath construction. And the number of cross-ribs indicates the cord's diameter. UV-stabilized, high-strength polyamide fibers with a precisely matched core-sheath construction lead to this top-of-the-line product.

The Powerloc Expert series has the enormous advantage that the cord diameter can be identified by the pattern in the sheath and the color. This means it is still easy to determine even after years of use.
