The DMM Pivot belay device and Phantom carabiner package gives you a premium double-act in climbing performance. When belaying in guide mode the unique pivot system reduces the distance between the pivot point and the load. This lessens the force needed to release and lower a climber for a safer, more controlled descent.In this mode the Pivot allows the belayer to lower a single second or two seconds simultaneously or individually; with total control using the specially shaped biner cavity. The Pivot also gives you a trusty abseil partner for the return to base.
