DMM Phantom Screwgate Matt Grey

The DMM Phantom Screwgate: A featherweight screw-gate carabiner that despite its lightweight, boasts the burl and strength of biners double its size. It's offset D shape gives optimal loading and ergonomics, and encourages loading at its strongest orientation, it does this by forcing loads down towards the spine of the biner. Alongside this, the D shape extends the top bar and increases internal volume.

The Biner's nose slots into a grove in the gate, achieving full strength without the need of a gate notch and creating a clean internal profile that will not snag on your rope or catch on gear or bolts. The Phantom's I-Beam construction allows the biner to remain light without compromising strength, DMM achieves this through Hot Forging, a process that allows biners to be manufactured in complex shapes to improve its functionality.
