This Summit Gear Winch Bag is designed and manufactured to be attached to a helicopter winching apparatus via the winch loop that is constructed is a single loop that circumferences the entire bag and is readily identifiable by the red cordura handles. The Winch Loop is constructed of a minimum 2200kg breaking strain 50mm webbing. Winching bags have been tested to failure at 900kg (the load at which the bag begins to separate from the winch loop). Winch loops feature Cordura reinforcement for durability.
The bag is fully lined with heavy duty and water impervious CT1000 PVC fire retardant fabric that makes it easy to wipe out if there are any spills
The outer fabric is 1000 denier Cordura. Is a high tenacity nylon fabric. It displays unparalleled abrasion and tear resistance. The bag is fully enclosed with a YKK #10 coil zipper with locking zipper slides.
A strip of reflective tape has been added to the bag for increased visability and there are two drainage holes that have been inserted in the bottom of the winch bag.
The winch loop has also been designed to be a length that makes a great carry handle to easily move the bag when it has a jerry can enclosed inside it.
