Sold by the metre.

Use it for restringing nuts etc to save weight and bulk (it is only 20g/m), but tie a Triple Fisherman's Knot rather than a double fisherman's knot (if you don't know the difference then ring us up and we'll explain!), and also you must cut it with a hot knife, pull the sheath back 5mm, chop this amount from the core, pull the sheath over the end of the core and heat seal it in place - you need to do this because the core and sheath do not bond together when cut.

Features

Lightweight 5.5mm static Dyneema cord sold by the metre.

High strength of 1800 daN, offering strength comparable to some thicker ropes.

Weighs only 20 g per metre, helping reduce weight and bulk.

Suitable for restringing nuts and hexes.

Requires a Triple Fisherman's Knot when tying.

Must be cut with a hot knife and heat-sealed correctly to prevent sheath slippage.

Not suitable for Prusik loops, abseiling, or replacing worn-out slings on modern cams due to sheath slippage, stiffness, and heat sensitivity.

Specifications

Product Name: Dyneema Cord

Diameter: 5.5 mm

Colour: Blue

Material: Dyneema

Type: Static Cord

Strength: 1800 daN

Weight: 20 g/m

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0092/0885/6612/files/Beal-Dyneema-Cord-55mm-Blue_1200x1200_bbeacb6f-090b-4281-8ef4-d432df99af79.webp?v=1791955288
